Meet Nisha, a 1-year-old, 10 lb Poodle mix who came to Lovebugs pregnant and soon gave birth in her foster home. She has been an absolutely wonderful mommy—sweet, loving and completely devoted.

Now that her mommy duties are winding down, Nisha is getting ready for a new chapter of her own! She is friendly with new people, gets along well with other dogs and is well-mannered in the home. She also has an adorable playful and silly side that is starting to shine through more and more.

Nisha is a petite sweetheart with so much love to give, and we can’t wait to see her become the center of someone’s world.

Meet Blake, one of Nisha’s adorable pups! This little guy is absolutely darling and already stealing hearts. We’re looking forward to watching his personality blossom as he grows.

Michael is a darling Yorkie mix puppy with a sweet, affectionate personality and a playful streak. He loves being close to his people and is perfectly happy snuggled up on his foster’s lap soaking up some attention.

He’s also discovered the joy of water—and apparently believes his water bowl doubles as a puppy pool! Michael can sometimes be found standing right in it or, even better, flipping it over for a little extra fun. He’s a quick-moving little guy who is always on the go, which makes getting the perfect photo of him a bit of a challenge!

Michael also has some favorite summertime treats, including frozen blueberries and mango cubes, peanut butter on his chew toys, and ice cubes to crunch on when it’s warm.

Sweet, silly and full of puppy charm, Michael will make a wonderful little companion for a family ready for plenty of snuggles, playtime and a few wet paws along the way!

Jermaine is a darling 8-week-old Yorkie mix puppy with an adventurous spirit and a big personality! This curious little guy always wants to be part of the action and much prefers being out and about with his foster family rather than missing out on any fun.

Jermaine is playful, outgoing and a little vocal when he wants attention or is ready for some playtime. Like any curious puppy, he sometimes finds things to chew on that he shouldn’t, but thankfully he’s easy to redirect to an appropriate toy.

He’s already quite the little model too! Jermaine sits nicely and knows how to pose for the camera. When it comes to treats, he’s developed some pretty sophisticated tastes—frozen blueberries and mango cubes are favorites, along with peanut butter on his chew toys and an ice cube to cool off on a warm day.

Meet Latoya, a darling Yorkie mix puppy who is blossoming more and more each day! She was a little shy when she first arrived, but her confidence is growing and her sweet personality is beginning to shine.

Latoya loves one-on-one attention and will happily make her way into your lap for some cozy snuggles. She’s also discovering how much fun puppy life can be and has developed a love for balls and squeaky toys.

This smart little girl is already working on her puppy manners, including learning to sit and use the potty pad. She does well in her crate and sleeps peacefully throughout the night—pretty impressive for such a young pup!

And we can’t forget about that adorable coat! Latoya has the most unique coloring, with little “frosted tips” that make her look like she just stepped out of the salon. With continued love, structure, and socialization, Latoya is sure to make a wonderful addition to a lucky family.

Aaron is a handsome 3-year-old, 18 lb Shih Tzu who found himself at the Lancaster shelter with another dog he was surrendered with. When we learned about the pair, we headed to the shelter hoping to rescue them both. By the time we arrived, Aaron’s companion had been rescued—but we certainly weren’t going to leave Aaron behind!

Aaron came to us terribly neglected, with his coat covered in thick, painful mats. Unfortunately, there was no saving it, so he had to be shaved down. But don’t worry—we know that gorgeous Shih Tzu coat will grow back, and he’ll be looking like a new man in no time!

Most importantly, underneath all those mats was the sweetest little guy. Aaron has a wonderful disposition, gets along well with other dogs, and is friendly with new people he meets. He’s ready to leave his past behind and find a family who will make sure he’s never overlooked again.

Morgan is a darling 5-week-old Bulldog mix puppy who was sadly found discarded and unable to walk. After being evaluated, we learned that this little guy has swimmer syndrome, a condition that affects a puppy’s ability to properly position and use their legs.

Thankfully, Morgan landed in the right hands! We recently rehabbed another swimmer puppy with great success, so we know the dedication and therapy it takes to get these babies moving.

Morgan has already started physical therapy, and we’re optimistic that with a little time, patience and lots of TLC, he’ll be up on all fours before we know it!

For now, this sweet boy is getting everything he needs to grow stronger each day. We can’t wait to watch Morgan find his footing and cheer him on every step of the way!

Butterscotch is a 3-year-old, 13 lb Poodle mix with soft, beautiful curls and an incredibly sweet disposition. This little girl has been through more than she ever deserved.

Butterscotch was found wandering a neighborhood for several days, full of milk and desperately looking for her puppies. Sadly, her pups were nowhere to be found. We suspect she may have been used for breeding and then discarded when she was no longer needed.

Those days are behind her now. Butterscotch is safe, loved, and healing from her ordeal. Despite everything she’s experienced, she remains a gentle, loving little soul who is ready to put the past behind her.

Now it’s Butterscotch’s turn to be someone’s baby. She’s ready to start a brand-new chapter with a family who will cherish her and show her just how wonderful a forever home can be.

Meet Zeke, an 8-week-old Doberman puppy (full DNA below) with a heart as big as his adorable puppy paws! This handsome boy is sweet, cuddly, and full of playful puppy charm. After an eight-hour labor on 8/5/26 that was definitely not for the faint of heart, everyone is finally here safe and sound.

A huge shoutout goes to foster mom Lisa, who did an incredible job overseeing her very first whelping. She stayed calm, attentive, and by Junie’s side every step of the way. There is simply no way Junie could have done this alone out on the streets where she was found pregnant.

Now it’s time for Junie (and Lisa) to rest, soak up all the puppy cuddles, and settle into motherhood. Welcome to the world, little ones—more updates coming as they grow.
